Historic Scotland (now part of HES) offer the country’s most important historic sites as visitor attractions, whilst safeguarding them for future generations.

They range from former royal homes and ancient archeological sites to industrial & military heritage. Our most popular places include Edinburgh, Stirling, Urquhart Castles & Skara Brae in the Orkney Islands.

We offer a range of products to the trade, including our Explorer Pass and Scottish Heritage pass (in partnership with the National Trust for Scotland). We also offer private tours, afternoon tea and hospitality options and our sites are frequently used for filming so we can advise on itineraries.
