Bunnahabhain lies on the north-east coast of Islay – “The Queen of the Hebrides”. Islay is famous for its peated malt whisky, but Bunnahabhain is unqiue as our signature whisky is an unpeated style withrich, complex layers of flavour, matured in ourcoastal warehouses.
Built in 1881, Bunnahabhain means ‘mouth of the river’. We use spring water from the Margadale river to make our whisky using traditional methods.
There are trips, journeys and pilgrimages – travelling to Bunnahabhain is something you will never forget!
Come join us to experience the Sound of Islay and the taste of Bunnahabhain. Our cafe also provides a selection of freshly prepared food, daily specials &light lunches.
