Scotland’s Heritage, the partnership of 25 key Scottish tourism businesses representing over 800 of Scotland’s finest visitor attractions gathered to congratulate the winners this year.

 Rabbie’s is awarded with Scotland’s Heritage UK Tour Operator of the Year and

JacTravel is awarded Scotland’s Heritage International Tour Operator of the Year.

These prestigious awards were first launched by Scotland’s Heritage at VisitScotland Expo 2013 to recognise the considerable importance the travel trade plays in the Scotland’s Heritage partner businesses including worldwide promotion and providing the vital forward bookings that are key to this sector.

Group spokesman and Royal Yacht Britannia’s sales manager, Pete Chambers commented:

We are delighted to award JacTravel and Rabbie’s this year. They are both operators with a long history of working closely with many of the Scotland’s Heritage Partners. We want to recognize the innovation in tour programmes and show appreciation to tour  operators for their considerable dedication to the heritage sector

 Exhibiting for the 9th consecutive year at VisitScotland Expo, and with its biggest presence to date, this exciting collaboration stretches from Shetland to Dumfries and Galloway

We are working together to showcase the very best of Scotland’s

Heritage attractions to the travel trade. The 5 new partners this year are The Royal Edinburgh Ticket, Armadale Castle and Gardens; East of Scotland Museums, The Highland Folk Museum and Big Houses in the Scottish Borders. All partners will be exhibiting together in aisle M at VisitScotland Expo in Edinburgh, 20 & 21 April.
